The Audiocentrix are a Rhode Island based modern rock band blending hard driving rhythms, synth rock, and pop hooks to form a catalog of infectious songs hailed by fans and critics alike. The band’s debut album, “Center Yourself†was released in the winter of 2004 to rave reviews. The disc earned the group a “Best Local Breakthrough Act†nomination in the 2005 AND 2006 Providence Phoenix Reader’s Poll, and it was named as one of the top ten albums of 2004 by renowned Phoenix music columnist Bob Gulla. Much of the credit for the group’s success can be attributed to the overwhelming appeal of the lead off single from the disc, “So Easyâ€. The song was a finalist for Pop Song of the Year on www.songoftheyear.com, was a “feature track of the day†and spent 8 weeks on the top 40 modern rock charts on www.garageband.com, received significant local recognition getting airplay on both major rock radio stations in the Providence, RI market and was nominated for “Best Song†in the 2005 Providence Phoenix Reader’s Poll.
