First off, I would like to extend, to you our deepest appreciation for the purchase of the "No Formula" album. It means the world to us to know that people, such as yourself, are interested in what we do..

We haven't ever been completely satisfied with any of the recordings that we've gotten in the past due in part to the member changes, so we've decided to do a more current recording that would capture the energy of a live show. We chose 16 of our favorite songs from the past and the future and had them recorded in front of a live audience.

On a deeper note, we also appreciate your interest in the album because of the statement that you knowingly or unknowingly make. In this day and age music is so easy to come by and many times the people who are in charge of what music is played on the radio underestimate the audience... They are under the impression that unless a song follows a certain "formula", then the song won't keep the audiences attention. They like the chorus to be 30 seconds into the song and last no longer than 3 and a half minutes. By buying this CD you are giving the finger to the "formula" and you are advocating that songs are works of art and not machines.

So lastly, we hope that you enjoy the CD in all of its rough glory. We didn't edit or alter any of the recordings. All of our mistakes are there for the whole world to see and coincidentally we hope that they do...
