The Accusations

The Accusations are positioned to become "The Next Big Thing Out OF Atlanta." They performed at The 2001 and 2002 Atlantis Music Conference Showcase, Music Midtown 2002, Slabfest 2002 and 99X Pooch Prance for Second Chance 2002. They have been getting increasing spins on many local and regional radio stations and can be found on MP3.com and Garageband.com, which they are ranked one of the top 20 bands in their category.

Here's the BIG NEWS: The Accusations have recently released their creation titled "Guilt By Association". This was recorded with notable producer Rob Gal at his Snack & Shack studio here in Atlanta. This is their sophomore release to "First Appeal" which was IUMA's best selling disk for a month. The Accusations are now in studio working on their third CD due to come out this spring of 2003.

For Guitarist Randal Blake, founder of The Accusations and principal songwriter, recent successes are particularly well deserved. Randal is the most integral component of the band as writer, composer, engineer and rhythm guitarist. His electric musical vision incorporates a range of feels, personified by The Accusations live performance: layered vocal harmonies coupled with interlining guitar and keyboard lines with a punchy, very pocket backdrop of bass and drums. Endearing enough to make you smile, powerful enough to knock you over backwards. Randal's rhythm guitar style, an incredibly energetic blend of hard rock and funk, brings audiences to their feet and keeps them moving throughout the show.

Jeff Hall is the Bass player for The Accusations. Jeff had achieved significant regional notoriety in the band Radiant City, and was eager to join The Accusations. Jeff is a very polished and professional musician, an A-typical one as well; it's not often that one comes across such an accomplished and learned player who is happy to be a great pocket player (team player). Jeff works hard to make The Accusations sound terrific as a group, he does a fine job, and he wears a cocky smile throughout.

With Jeff Hall came Mick White, a multi-talented Atlanta native singer/guitarist/keyboardist. This "jack-of-all-trades-musician" ads a variety of audible textures to the mix via bright guitar lines, aggressive keys, and harmonic vocals. No player could be a functional "triple threat" in a professional band situation without having a fantastic ear, and attitude to match. Mick proves himself to be this man.

Mark Carbonara aka" Bullet" is an actor turned drummer. Mark has been playing since grade school and it shows. Mark crushes accents and pummels audiences with punch, all the while holding tightly to The Accusations musical reins through his sense of time and musical dynamics.

The Accusations have been entertaining crowds around Atlanta and throughout the southeast for 5 years and yet they somehow manage to make each performance more exciting than the last. A band comprised of talented, intelligent, and hard working team players, playing top shelf rock material, can surely do no less. Every venue they've played has asked them back, which is no surprise.
