Shawn Eiferman has been performing and writing music for almost 20 years, but has spent his whole life surrounded by entertainment. His mother was a world-famous opera singer and his father was a pioneer of body building(former Mr. America/Mr. Universe), who later did shows with Mae West and Debbie Reynolds, and made television and film appearances for more than thirty years.

Shawn began playing guitar at the early age of nine growing up in Bellingham, Washington, before his family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he currently resides and performs regularly as the house entertainment at both the House of Blues Las Vegas, and the Nils Lofgren Guitar Bar. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas, he jumped into the local scene with both feet, playing solo gigs for seven years and earning UNLV's 'College Entertainer of the Year' award two years in a row. In 1994, he won a Battle of the Bands competition by himself against eleven full-piece bands!

Shawn founded and fronted an acoustic modern rock band, Epstein?s Mother, for the last six years. He decided to continue his work as a solo artist after the band?s break up in September 2001

The following is a list of accomplishments and accolades Eiferman has garnered over the years:

1st place winner in the 2001 USA Songwriting Contest(rock category)..2nd place overall!

"Catch this guitar playin', joke crackin', rock n' roll singin', incredibly talented wild man before he makes it big."

In Music magazine calls him "an all-around hip musician and scenester with an extensive repertoire and dynamic stage presence."

"[Eiferman] brings a sense of humor and breezy competent style to his stage- his songwriting is an honest collection of work that puts him above the average entertainer."
