Prayers For Rain has been unassumingly cementing itself in the Buffalo scene since late 1999. Formed by Rich Militello and Corey Pietrzak, the band struggled for a time with personnel changes, but has found its identity through the more recent addition and contributions of Patrick Collette on guitar and vocals and Cave Wilson on drums and percussion. Intelligent lyrics, catchy melodies, tight and compelling rhythms, and an overall strong pop sensibility have all helped to create a growing fan base, one which has eagerly awaited the release of the band's first album. Recorded throughout the latter part of 2003 at Audio Magic and Select Sound Studios, the Spring of 2004 marks the release of the band's self-titled debut disc.
