A band on the rise, the Pawnshop Lifers have released their debut album Vinyl Friday. Casey Jones singer/songwriter for the band, explains the title; "We would get together on Friday nights and rehearse till morning. We got pretty wasted most of those nights. It was a good stage to get together in a relaxed setting and write songs. Afterward, we would go upstairs, put a record on and talk shit." The music is very diverse and ranges from rock/alternative to pop to punk sounds. A unique blend of vocals and harmonies over this music is a refreshing change of pace. The CD has received local airplay and is getting great response. "We're here to have a good time," says guitarist Ryan Mahoney. "Its all about good times and good music" Vinyl Friday proves this...
