In the case of Nothing More, the word 'generic' stands no ground. Nothing More is special; described as intense, melodic hard rock, the young men of this group are not satisfied by the common sound created and redistributed time and time again. The group avoids writing music in a sculpted manner. Instead the group takes many different approaches to compose their music. "Every song we write comes from a different direction. We never stop writing music, and we still make changes to our songs every practice. Sometimes we change the smallest of details, and sometimes the entire gist of the song. It's constantly becoming tighter, forming Nothing More's sound," explains guitarist, Mark Vollelunga. "When we started this band, we just wanted to write cool songs. Now we're more interested in letting go, letting our music evolve and grow. And now in every song it seems we're becoming more diverse in our style and sound, and tighter musically," adds guitarist, Josh Kercheville.

Seeing bands live is seldom a disappointment. This is definitely the case with Nothing More. One can capture the emotion and hard work poured into every song down their set list. The sound is kept together brilliantly, captivating the crowd with its intense rhythms and gripping melodies. "Putting on a great show is where bands have an opportunity to set themselves apart," observes Josh Kercheville. "It's easy to find bands that just throw things together, but it can be a challenge to find bands who love what they're doing and work hard at it. We make sure that our performances are impeccable."

Locally accredited, Nothing More's song 'Sad Eyes' is in regular rotation on KXXM - Mix 96.1, as a result, the name "Nothing More" has become more readily recognized and the diverse fan base is growing larger. In the past, the band has preformed around San Antonio , Boerne, Nelson City , and Austin . During the summer of 2002, Nothing More entered and won the Hill Country Battle of the Bands, competing against many great unsigned talents. Their following has grown at an astonishing rate. After much hard work and opening time slots, Nothing More is beginning to forge a name for themselves.
