Mondays in Bed singer/songwriter Bobby Quick hails from Akron, Ohio. Growing up listening to groups such as The Beatles, The Cars, The Clash, he became enamored with the short-but-sweet Rock-Brit-Pop style melodies. Penning such tunes as “Farmers Daughterâ€, “Lemonadeâ€, “Destiny†and “Back Where I Startedâ€, his group Zero Parade was quickly signed to the Chicago Indie label Acme Entertainment. The band then became stable mates with Aerosmith on Magus Management, where the band enjoyed college radio success with their Justin Niebank-produced CD. Bobby re-emerges with Mondays in Bed, carrying the torch of the 3-minute powerpop song. With 8 new songs on the new release, the CD “Quickly†brings back the fun and innocence of rock. Songs such as the CD intro tune "The Sensation of Loving You" and "I Need a Song" continue the upbeat foray into fast moving melodies that stick to the walls with energy and vibrancy reminiscent of groups such as The Replacements, Presidents of the USA, and Weezer.
