Singer-songwriter Bob Gentry is not a household name-yet. From his humble beginnings as a musical protégé at the age of 7 growing up in Detroit.
The self taught musician started out young and created a collection of fifty songs by the time he was a teenager. His first band collaboration called Moisture, quickly gained attention locally. Moisture released their debut album, "Bastard" on local indie, Static Records in 1999 and the CD created national recognition for the band. When Bob moved to Los Angeles to create more opportunities for the music, the rest of the band stayed behind. Finding new musicians there, he resurrected Moisture and recorded a second album. At the CD release party, a producer from the national music TV show, "Farmclub" saw them and invited the band to perform on the show. After an overwhelming response to their performance, the band was offered a recording contract. Unfortunately, Farmclub Records never came into fruition.
