MoeDeLL is the former lead singer/songwriter of the band Monkey In A Mansuit. "The Facade" is his first CD as a solo artist. It's a 5 song EP that is a blend of modern rock and acoustic singer/songwriter. The lyrics which are dark and brooding, are definitely one of the big highlights of "The Facade". They compliment the guitar driven songs with illusions of lonliness, fear, and love. It all starts with "Sensational", heavily drenched with vibrato guitar, it cries out for you to let me die in peace, but who knew dying could feel so good. Track 2, "This Time", is a stripped down acoustic song about fighting a dark fear. "Solitaire", with its driving guitar riff, is obviously about lonliness, hence the title, and probably the most kick ass song. "Won't The Gods Ever Listen?" is the darkest track on this CD. Its haughting voice and lazy guitar drone creep around until the deep melancholy chorus almost leaves you anxious and exhausted. The CD ends with a song called "Infinity" about losing yourself in the moment. MoeDeLL is expected to have a full length CD out by the end of 2005.
