Like Yesterday are from New York. No... wait. Only Seva and Matt are from New York. Mark and Dave, being brothers, are from the same small town in Canada and Joe is from Cleveland, Ohio. They decided to make this a band in New York. So the band is from New York then. Mark met Seva at some point and they thought they could make something happen that was bigger than the sum of their parts. Over a weekend, everyone jumped in and boom--Like Yesterday was born. With a bag of guitar riffs, beautiful melodies and heart-felt lyrics, they took off, working at home, on the road, at the studio and on the stage. And it's been paying off--they have toured with bands like My Chemical Romance, The Used, Atreyu, Funeral For A Friend and Taking Back Sunday. There is even a CD in Japan with their faces and funny writing on it--we haven't seen it but we hear it's a trip. And they're working more than ever.
