With a down to earth honesty and streetwise sensibility that permeates her writing and performances, Laurie Ann Fessler is an artist’s artist. Blessed with an absolutely breathtaking voice, striking beauty, and infectious charisma, this Queens, NY born talent has now brought her unique blend of Pop, Country, Rock, and Dance to Nashville. From the impassioned pleas and ephemeral musings of the ballads “Mysterious†and “Unsatisfied†to the pulse pounding rhythms of the pure South Beach dance club anthem “Up in the Grooveâ€, Laurie Ann’s efforts span the musical landscape. Honing her sound in the clubs and studios of New York and Miami, Laurie Ann has accumulated a long list of collaborations and credits. Of particular note is her involvement with Bassist Schuyler Deale (Michael Bolton, Heart, Billy Joel) in the Fuman Freak and Family Project, as well as the Soulogicamp group. The Soulogicamp collaboration yielded "I Confess" which appeared on the" Buddha Bar Presents Living Theater" album. Her most recent work includes the video for her single Up in the Groove which is currently being played dance clubs. Laurie can also be heard on India Arie's new album which will be in store June 27th. She is currently developing new tracks with acclaimed producer Peter Kuperschmid (Christina Aguilera, Joan Jett).
