Singer/songwriter Laura DiStasi moves past sentimentality and cliché into darker, more intimate lyrical spaces with her debut album, Winters Never Quit. Recorded over the course of a year in Boston and released in the fall of 2005, the album is filled with both the vibrancy and isolation of city life.
