Lather is a female-fronted band from the Puget Sound area (Washington State), that has an original, alternative, modern, rock sound and a wide-ranging audience. The band is melodic and edgy, both lyrically and musically. Lather's live shows are quite a different experience from the heavier genre found in the live, local music scene today. In their music you will find sounds ranging from clean and organic to distorted and experimental - Lather is electric, acoustic, ambient, driving, original, ROCK music! Lather has been making music together since 1996 and Kary and John have been creating sounds together since 1995. Their music continues to be a favorite in the local area.
