Kit Kamien represents a unique story within the music industry. In the 1970's, nationally recognized DJ Cerphe (currently working at 94.7 FM in the Washington, DC area) gave Kit his first "on air" music opportunity on WHFS FM in Washington, DC. In 1978, a sharp turn of events occurred when Kit was diagnosed with MS. Faced with this diagnosis, however, Kit did not have enough sense to stop making, enjoying or recording music. As it turns out, that was a very good thing for the music industry - and for music lovers everywhere. In his most recent CD release, "Tubal Ligation Jones: A Collection" Kit joins a series of outstanding session players to create a unique collection of music that spans multiple musical styles.
