BIOGRAPHIES Senior Pastor Mel Ayres of In His Presence Church and CEO of Ayres of God Ministries is a visionary, called of God to disciple a church that is changing the Entertainment Industry in Los Angeles and the world. His dedication to the uncompromised, unconditional, loving Word of God and excellence in ministry has produced a dynamic church in Studio City, California. Pastor Mel was born in Tampa, Florida and moved to Los Angeles in 1977, where he pursued an acting/songwriting career for over ten years. Even with success from appearing on Days of Our Lives, Three's Company, General Hospital and Falcon Crest, Pastor Mel knew God's plan for his life was full-time ministry. He married Pastor Desiree and started Ayres of God Ministries. In 1993, they founded In His Presence Church. Pastor Ayres continues to write praise and worship music -- having his music featured at the Presidential Breakfast and licensed to major Christian recording artists. His commitment to holiness in Hollywood is changing his community and challenging the entertainment industry. Through a commitment to excellence, Pastor Ayres continues to lead a vibrant, purposeful church that is creating a legacy in Los Angeles. Daniel Tostenson was born and raised on a farm near Fergus Fall, Minnesota. While attending High School he began to receive recognition for his ability as a vocalist. Shortly after High School, at Bible School in Issagua, Washington, he experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit and received his first "nudging" of the Lord regarding the ministry of leading people into the presence of God through praise and worship. Twenty years later, Daniel has begun to fully walk in that call as Praise and Worship leader at In His Presence Church. Michelle "Corbetta" Gregory was born in Ft. Worth, Texas then raised in Miami, Florida, and attended high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico and then moved to Los Angeles where she continued studying music at Azusa Pacific University. Corbetta has had the opportunity to front several original bands with performances touring locally, across the United States and worldwide. She also travels on a yearly basis to countries such as India and Croatia, working as a Musicianary, presenting the gospel through citywide concerts.
