INMIND is a rock band. As simple as it may sound, it makes perfect sense. Trying to squeeze them under one defining genre of rock can prove extremely difficult. They dont fit under Metal, Emo, nor Power Pop. Instead, this Southern California based four piece combines elements of all three, and more. With music that is sonically diverse as it is emotional and driving, INMIND are defining their own sound of unique melodies wrapped around arena-sized hooks. For all the band members -- which include front man Daniel Isaiah, Colin Frazier on guitar, Mike Duncan on bass and Steve Penwel on drums -- it is finally a meeting of like ideas and beliefs stripped of ego and attitudes. It is an intense focus on creating a musical energy that transcends the recorded medium and manifests itself in the soul of the listener. With the release of their debut effort entitled "Radio Silence", INMIND gives us 6 songs of full tilt emotion and feeling. From the searing anger of "Wasted" and "The sooner I forget" to the love and understanding of "Into the sun" and "Sacred ground" and lastly, to the heartfelt laments "Radio Silence" and "Run", INMIND gives us an EP that makes an impact on our ears and in our hearts but most importantly, in our minds.
