FaT MooKeN is a high-energy Power-Pop Trio from Albany NY. Their music is ear candy perhaps, and easy to swallow at that. Bubblegum/Power-Pop with a powerful edge. Like many prescription anti-depressant medications, FaT MooKeN will put you in the best of moods. Quick, short, and to the point: Songs designed with Attention Deficit Disorder in mind. No lengthy guitar solos. No depressing "Alternative" lyrics. No self-gratifying 10 minute jams. Just real music, about real things, written by real people. Established in 1995, FaT MooKeN has strived to create a smooth combination of sweet melodies and harmonies, with a hard-driving, kick-ass backbone. FaT MooKeN has performed at some great venues and festivals including: Albany NY's "late" QE2, Valentine's, Northern Lights, SUNY Albany's Park Fest '96 (featuring the Ramones,the Bogmen, and D-Generation), WQBK-FM The Edge's EDGEfest '98 with Everclear, Blink 182,Letters to Cleo, Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Black Lab, Possum Dixon, Feeder, and many more).
