Having been described as ground breaking new rock from Seattle, DROP
SIX has received enormous response from the moment they arrived
on the scene in the spring of 2001. The release of their self-produced CD
entitled "last one to drown..." created quite a buzz among prominent
figures in the music industry and quickly gained the band label interest.
DROP SIX is the premier hard rock band in the Pacific Northwest.

Possessing originality and a powerful, three-dimensional sound along with
a powerful stage presence, DROP SIX projects extraordinary amounts
of energy through both performance as well as the music itself. These six
musicians, each bringing strong individual influence and skill to the
table, inspire each other to stretch their musical capabilities out to form a
solid unit that creates hard-hitting dynamics which stress the music's
uninhibited extremes, making them a truly versatile yet uncompromising
force on the heavy music front. With their explosive live show, they
receive unbelievable crowd response at every show they play and the exchange
between the stage and the audience is so intense, it keeps both
the band and the fans wanting more.

As their popularity continues to spread like wildfire, the DROP SIX following
continues to grow. After two of Seattle's most popular local bands
in the scene's recent history disbanded, there was a void left in the area's
club circuit. Members from the two defunct bands, Local 808 and BuKu
FuNGi, saw the potential to reach levels of musical creativity and intuition
beyond any they had experienced in a band before. That potential
became what is now DROP SIX.

The fact that DROP SIX is continually sought after by promoters, rock clubs
and local radio stations on account of their incredible live show and
impressive drawing power, proves that they are one of the hardest working
independent bands around. The list of labels who have requested
promotional materials from the band includes Universal, Geffen, Interscope,
Epic, Roadrunner, Eclipse and Hollywood Records among others.
Andrew Goodfriend of The Agency Group also expressed interest in the
band after hearing so much about them from Mudvayne's singer Chad
Gray, who was introduced to DROP SIX in December of 2002 when they
opened for Mudvayne at their sold out Moore Theater show in Seattle.

Since then, both crowd size and record sales have continued to rise for DROP
SIX as they have also shared the stage with such acts as Fear Factory, Drowning
Pool, Static X, Crossfade, Melvins, Twiztid, Powerman 5000, Strata, Ill Nino, Trust
Company, Professional Murder Music, Mix Mob, Crooked, Hell's Belles and even
Ron Jeremy to name a few. Their fan base grows substantially each time the band
is placed in front of a new crowd and this has helped earn them the privilege of
being one of the few unsigned Northwest area bands that Thrasher Presents often
calls on to fill concert bills featuring well-known national acts as their tours head
through Western Washington.

Singers Chad and Nate (who happen to be blood related brothers) take full advantage
of their dual lead vocal style by incorporating plenty of layering and harmonizing
into their song writing, just one element that sets DROP SIX apart from other rock
bands currently achieving commercial success. While the music is radio friendly
and comparable to that of bands like Deftones and Incubus, DROP SIX has a sound
all their own and it is definitely refreshing. Embracing a less traditional approach
to having two guitar players in a band, Danny and Mischa offer unique textures
as they throw down solid, heavy guitar riffs and then intertwine melodies throughout
the music with style and skill, creating cool contrast and a huge and spacious sound
accented with tasteful nuances and subtleties. Not to mention that the fact that one
guitarist is male and the other is female makes for a pretty cool contrast as well.
All of this on top of a thick and heavy foundation nailed down by drummer Jeremy's
flavorful percussive work and Jacy's pronounced, low thundering bass tone.

Their debut album "last one to drown..." was recorded with Geoff Ott at London
Bridge and has sold nearly every copy pressed within a very short
amount of time. The demand for more is high as they currently write new material
with plans to release another album. To help pacify their fans, they have also
independently recorded and released an EP featuring the songs "It's Volatile" and
"Invincible" which have received quite a bit of airplay on 99.9FM KISW, the Rock
of Seattle. DROP SIX is also currently receiving airplay from several radio stations
across the nation as well as cable/satellite music services. The Music Choice Satellite
Rock Station has had the band listed twice now in its weekly top ten. Their fan base
continues to grow as their online merchandise sales, show attendance and radio airplay
clearly show that DROP SIX is indeed doing something right, and doing it all independently.
