Bill Reveles is a singer-songwriter whose film and television credits include Nobody's Fool (Paul Newman), Melrose Place, Party of Five, Beverly Hills 90210, Dawson's Creek, Daria, King of the Hill, and V.I.P.

Artists who have covered his songs include Nelson, Go-Go Jane Wiedlin, and Kyle Vincent (Hollywood Records).

Bill's second CD, Unamerican Dream, was released by Deaf Poet Records in September, 2000.

Unamerican Dream is a glimpse at the dark side of real life, a side where the reality of adulthood fails to live up to its advance billing.

In Maybe That's the Way She Loves we see a dysfunctional relationship where love and hate are not easily distinguished ("Every day we lose another little piece. It fuels the fire in our dirty little war").

Conflict turns to disillusionment in the uptempo but downbeat Down on Love ("Shoot the moon, drag the lake, expose the princess as a fake") and to guilt in Noelle ("Ugly words make me see what it was to be with me").

Anxiety over material hardship in Forget About You ("I didn't sign the checks I sent") transforms emotional turmoil into paralysis ("I could not feel my body").

At times Bill's close observations paint vivid pictures, such as "When the sun hits her right you can see the wear on her face" from Hidden in Her Heart.

At others he paints with a broader brush, as in the societal indictment That's Just Who We Are.

Through it all, as we learn something about Bill, we also learn a little about ourselves.

Bill discovered his love for music early in life.

His parents' hopes that he would be a doctor, a dentist, or at least a college graduate were dashed.

He used to perform his English writing assignments on guitar.

He blew a gift from his parents for his 16th birthday on a pawn-shop guitar amplifier instead of the used Chevy Impala that was supposed to take him to school.

Bill began his career in a series of garage bands and graduated to a series of garage bands that toured the Los Angeles nightclub circuit, including the Roxy, the Whiskey, Madam Wong's, and the Palomino.

Eventually he went off on his own, refocusing his efforts on solo acoustic performances and studio recording.

His first CD, Empty Chair, was released by Roughrider Records in 1995.

Bill prefers to present songs at his live performances in intimate settings in the manner in which they are written, with one voice and one guitar.

He currently performs regularly in the Los Angeles area.

Largely self-produced, Unamerican Dream features Tim Godwin (Air Supply, Grass Roots, Laura Brannigan), Doug Pettibone (Jewell, Tracy Chapman), and Bruce Watson (Rod Stewart, Patty Smyth) on guitar, LA session player Bob Mair and Kevin McCormick (Melissa Etheridge, Jackson Brown) on bass, and Nick Vincent (John Fogerty, Brian Wilson, Frank Sinatra, ) on drums, with additional contributions by Fred Mandell (Alice Cooper, Elton John, Queen), Teddy Adreas (Carol King, Guns and Roses, Alice Cooper) Bob Mann (James Taylor), John Nau (Hootie and the Blowfish), Gia Ciambotti (Bruce Springsteen), and Quinton Flynn (voice of Johnny Quest).

Bill is a Los Angeles native.

He loves movies and bad weather.

His favorite ice cream flavor is 31 Flavors' gold medal ribbon.
