This is my first CD, made way back in 1997. Around that time I learned that most things are temporary.

We all know power is energy and the first rule of physics is energy can not be created or destroyed. So since it can not die, it can only change form. Even music is defined as a temporal medium.

So I felt it ws appropriate to name my music project Temporary Power.

Anyway...I think we all agree that music is something special. As a music lover, I look at music as an abstract sense of fundamental universal truths which say that who we all truly are, deep inside, is all the same.

The tones are color, the tones are language and feelings. Tones are the vibrations that made the universe.

We are all taking this journey together...sharing the same time and space. There have been billions of humans on this planet and yet no two are alike.

When we experience our problems in life, they seem to make us feel we are the only damn ones going through our problems.

What if I told you your problems are nothing new here on this planet? Things were never perfect here and they never will be...but that is okay! Problems have always been a part of the human experience. I have found music is therapy and can help us party and it can help us heal; laugh and cry, y'know?

Most of our troubles are nature givng us a fit...or people being less than evolved. Civil is the root word of civilization...and I love my coffee...anyway, my music is my experience of these things.

How we handle our strain stems from how we are programmed and these problems start with a belief or idea. So music is a good way to feel connected to a reality outside our own.

Listening to folks everywhere and as often as I can, I have found we all want to make our problems better. True musicians want to make music that matters and what I really want to do most is to listen in the moment and be aware, because as I observe it, every problem in the world has already been here and already been solved by somebody sometime...somewhere. We are evolving...y'know? And that is good.

So my music is the sum total of alot of these thoughts and feelings and for some people it is really hard to pin down style wise...as you will see, it is hard to categorize.
