Prior to their defection to the Revolution: Angel worked as a bartender, typecast at a variety of tex-mex restaurants. RMC was a high-ranking official at an advertising agency, where he practiced the black arts of corporate propaganda. King David worked as a preacher, passing the collection plate while saving souls from hellfire and certain damnation. After being continually ignored by the major labels (this music is not nu-metal or white-boy rap, and they don't write songs about how their broken childhoods prevented them from earning law degrees) they invested the profits from a year's worth of shows into their own 24-track studio near Louisville, Kentucky. Since they rocked it out at all hours of the night, they decided to call the place Twenty-Four/Seven Rock.
