From the mid-coast of Maine, the Spaceheaters play an eclectric guitar-based mix of 'jazzjamfunk'n'roll', with some surf and more to boot. The debut album includes nine instrumental tunes penned by the band, ranging from small jazz combo to crisp funk to tasty spacejams. Cover tunes rounding out the set are classics by Wes Montgomery, Cannonball Adderley, and Herb Alpert. When performing live, the 'heaters also play choice songs from Miles to the Surfaris; War to Brubeck; to spontaneous excursions venturing far out to sea before winding back home in one piece, mostly. Tate plays drums and percussion; Ronny plays electric bass and mandolin; and Bob and Pete play electric and acoustic guitars.

"A wonderful CD...one of the best Maine releases of 2005" - Cathy Melio, WERU Radio

"The Spaceheaters come out strong with their first studio album of eclectic instrumentals" - FACE Magazine 11/05
