Pat Mallinger resume contains concert appearances with Joe Williams, Nancy Wilson, Ramsey Lewis, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Clyde Stubblefield, Big Time Sarah, Umphrey's Mgee, among others. The Pat Mallinger Quartet has recently appeared twice at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland. He has also toured with the Woody Herman Orchestra, Artie Shaw Orchestra, and the Cab Calloway Orchestra.

Pat is very active on the Chicago scene, appearing regularly with Sabertooth, Jim Ryan-Bobby Lewis Quintet, Chicago Jazz Ensemble, Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Model Citizens Big Band, Marshall Vente's Project Nine, and the Ravinia Jazz Mentors Octet, and Terrapin Flyer.

Pat Mallinger's debut album "Monday Prayer" features Chicago's top jazz names including George Fludas on drums, Noel Kupersmith on bass, Dan Trudell on Piano, Jeff Parker on guitar, Bobby Lewis on trumpet, Joel Adams on trombone, Aras Biskis on percussion, Pat Mallinger and Cameron Pfiffner from Sabertooth on saxophones.
