All Genres > Rock > Instrumental Rock > NOISE BITCH/SHINK: Split EP

This split EP features wonky mentalist-rockers Noise Bitch and the experimental dream-weavers, Shink.

It was the first release from UK-based collective, The Mentalist Association, founded by members of these two bands.

Noise Bitch kick it off with the aptly titled live favourite 'Start as you mean to go on'. Next up is the moody epic 'Silver circle' leading us nicely into Shink's contributions.
First is the fun and experimental 'Scribbling at the speed of sound' and second is the EP's magnificent end piece,
'Starfish vs Japanese Fisherman'. The original of this actually appears on Shink's first album, but here we see it bastardised in to a noisier version complete with grinding power tools an' all.

Altogether an interesting mix of sonic experiments all recorded on 4 track cassette in the true Mentalist DIY fashion.
