Lance Reegan-Diehl (LRD)- His music has taken him to many different places in the world and given him unforgettable memories to dive into. This is his inspiration when writers block knocks at the creative door. His interest in all aspects of music creation have given him knowledge as an engineer and music producer using both digital, and analog recording mediums. He has applied this knowledge to his own LRD studio, where he is currently writing, engineering, and producing artist's and working on his new production's. Lance continues to study and explore every type of music he can get his hands on. Lance's approach is characterized by a broad dynamic range and a unique sensitivity to everything from lyrics to instrumentation. He plays for the song , locking in the grooves , tight riffs , soaring melodies , and evincing an intuitive grasp of when to play and when to be sparse. He incorporates original blendings of styles and ideas to create an individual sound which can be heard on his own music, sessions, and TV/movie spots. When not in the studio, Lance has toured in numerous bands ranging from Rock to pop to jazz worldwide. As music teacher and lecturer he has taught and lectured at various middle schools, high schools and Universities. He works on the understanding of the written note, how it is perceived by the listener, know your fret board, playing for the group and for the song. His lecture topics include dealing with the business, getting along with people in very close quarters, understanding the language of the musician. The basis for his knowledge of music, comes from the time he was enrolled in the Capilano College Jazz music program in Vancouver B.C. Lance has toured in many countries as front man, sideman and as opening act: Ricky Martin, Buddy Miles, Jim Byrnes, Mr Big, Greg Howe. In Asia: Danny Jung, BOA, Sung Si Kyung, Fly to the Sky, Tommy Emanuel among others. Lance is now located in Asia where he spends his time playing concerts, doing guitar clinics, teaching, and studio sessions.
