"Send the Fire!" features revamped Salvation Army songbook classics, as well as new songs written by The Salvation Army USA South’s very own worship team, transMission. Included in each package are 2 compact discs full of material: a demonstration recording on one disc and instrumental accompaniment tracks on the other. The 2nd disc doubles as an enhanced CD-ROM with printable lead sheets and chord charts for each song, as well as other bonus material. This album came out of a worship experience of hundreds of kids at a Salvation Army youth camp in 2003. Phil Laeger, Marty Mikles and Street Corner Medix (Lee Tanner, David Haupt, Chris Welch and Thomas Vick) then took that excitement into the studio, and the result has been a project that has sold over 8,000 copies worldwide and has been featured on the radio show "Wonderful Words of Life".
