Thunder Blooze Express was established in 1997. We have formed a band with a unique mixture of sound, somewhere between blues, fusion and jazz. collectively we have over sixty years of experience. The cd was produced using the simplest of recording capabilities to insure the honesty and integrity of our music. "What You See Is What You Get". "Thunder" = The sound you hear when god and nature wants to let you know who is still in control. "Blooze" (note the spelling) = The emotions of our music, the feeling and color of our sound. DOMINIC"NIK"BOUTTEe' (pronounced Boo-Tay) bass, lead and background vocals. Nik the bass player strums a custom made B. C. Rich Mockingbird Bass. "seeing is believing"watching this man play has been an inspiration to Me all of My life, He is my Father. Nik is the thunder behind this band. In his early days he played in groups such as the "Jimmy Reed-Al Butler Group"DRIFTERS and GIZMO"to name a few. in the "Thunder Blooze Express", he sets the heavy foundation with an attack that is memorable and filled with emotions. He plays vintage ampeg svt equipment today. There are many blues bands that are gaining popularity but in standard blues, you never hear a bass player cut so deep on a solo as in the "Thunder BLOOZE EXPRESS"I think his bass playing is revolutionary to say the least and should be remembered for years to come. Jesse"SHOTGUN"Quijano, lead and rhythm guitars, harp, keyboard lead and background vocals. a true stratman, with over twenty five years of experience under his belt, his style of playing sticks out like a sore thumb, it speaks for itself. sweet sweeping chors to direct attack leads on guitar. jesse uses fender equipment excusively by choice. a veteran of many bands from utah to so. calif. and the inland empire. he has opend for groups such as"el chicano, malo and al wilson. john cruz, came on board in late 1998. john cruz lead and rhythm guitar, lead and background vocals. john has been involved in the music business for eighteen years and loves to explore all types of music from rock , jazz, funk, blues, etc. his aggressive attack on guitar can make the biggest criticsdrop their jaw, and his melodic side can make even the toughest shed a tear. john brutalizes fender strats, and saldono amplification exclusively.
