From Albuquerque, NM USA

I ask you now to turn to The Meek's debut record. Entitled, "Inherit This," it's a celebration of sweat, pain, love, and loss delivered by something with lots of hair and a neck the size of a football field.

But just like Frankenstein, the original sensitive guy, it's about much more than size, power, and fear -- it's about the suffering and anger that lurks behind the monsterous sound.

This is an album that could throw your car clear across town and then sit down later and let you see it cry. Because any pain they inflict on you is directly related to the pain they're feeling, and it hurts them a lot more than it'll hurt you. Their lyrics are alarmingly honest and their music diverse -- rock, punk, funk, even pop -- they're not scared of you.

So if you're at all serious about the music you listen to, if you've got any integrity or taste at all, I suggest you bring this one home with you. It's a truly daring record with a lot to say, and needless to say, it's all said as no one's ever said it before.
