Dear Hippofiliacs! "RiverHorse" is RiverHorse's first album. It consists of songs from our live-repertoire. A couple of them somewhat elaborated. But basicly and simply: the music RiverHorse will play live. As we have done for many years. When performing live we have one primary objective: make them dance! But this selection also reflects our two main sources of artistic inspiration - classical, blues-based, electrified rock'n'roll and great pop-music. And a third: our own songs. Great material should be treated with love and care. Meaning: the respect we hold for the composers forbids us to accept anything less than truly original, even unconventional, versions from ourselves. RiverHorse is a creative team of which Danish veteran-rockers Allan Sorensen and Peter Valentin Rolnes are driving sources and main men. From time to time the team includes His royal, diacreole, modal Holyness, pianoplayer and keyboardista Johannes Skjelboe. Dance on!
