Kris O began playing guitar in 1980, and soon joined his very 1st rock&roll band that same year. In 2006 Kris O celebrates 26 years making music. The "Chain Of Events" Cd is the very first full-length "SOLO" album production, that Kris O released back in 1996 - "Chain Of Events" Proved to be a virtual starting ground for Songwriter/Guitarist/Producer Kris O. The Production on "Chain Of Events" did NOT live up to the standards of what Kris O had expected, & his standards of Today. Never the less, He Learned many things while writing, recording and Producing the "Chain Of Events" cd. What things Do work, and what things DON'T work. Everybody starts somewhere, and this would be that "stumbling block" cd for Kris O. Kris O has NOW become a more seasoned all around Musician/Producer/Composer, with many more years, bands, and music productions of Experience behind him. And in 2002 released his 2nd solo cd "Acoustically Inclined" ... a much More Professional Recording ALL Around, Proving just that. Kris O has decided to release the 1996 "Chain Of Events" cd, (as an "archive item") for the audience out there that still likes this very raw energetic cd. As well as to show some of the Diversity of his abilities from the "near beginnings" of his solo music projects. Its out here to show others that no matter where your humble beginnings (or what you personally think might be your worst project ever) are, you live, and learn, and you do get Better !! So, with all that said, I'm still putting this 1996 "Chain of Events" cd out there, to show my point. (Everybody has a [low] point in they're artistic career, "musically", that they think is they're "Most Embarrassing" ... so I'm putting mine out there, unlike Most others....haha) "Chain Of Events" is a face paced hard rock cd, that sounds like Skid Row crashed into Motorhead, or any other hard rock band from the 80's & 90's. Vocals on the "Chain of Events" cd provided by the Multi-Talented Vocalist/Drummer: Jamie Burritt. Kris O. wrote all of these songs sometime in 94-95. Explicit Lyrics. The Cover model on "C.O.E." is non-other than Kris O's ex-gurlfriend and lead singer from the south florida band "ALIEN". Kris O was the bass player @ the same time Cindy was lead vocalist for ALIEN. After 26 years in music..... Persistance, Drive, Passion, Determination...will and Do pay off. stick with it, I did, and I'm a better person for it, Musically !!
