HalfDown Thomas, an alternative/rock group from Cullman, AL, is an incredible mix of catchy melodies and unforgettable words. Their music is unique in its listener friendly style, as well as its inability to be confined within one genre. Original song styles range from modern heavy alternative to bluesy southern rock tracks. With individual influences ranging from Elvis and The Who, to Metallica, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and literally everything in between, it is guaranteed that HalfDown Thomas' songs have elements that will appeal to every fan of rock and roll. Fresh out of high school, guitarist Wesley Smith, drummer/percussionist Josh Wilbanks, and bassist George White, formed the band Aeseye. The following three years were spent developing writings skills and earning stage chops. In early 2000, it was decided a change was needed. Open auditions were held and lyricist/vocalist, Randy Ayers was added to the equation. This resulted in the forming of HalfDown Thomas...... Over the next year, they spent their time as HalfDown Thomas writing songs and paying dues. The first logical step seemed to be picking up as many gigs as possible, opening for other local bands, and making friends. With the release of their debut album, future goals are to move to other cities, gain a larger fan base and enjoy a living as a touring band. These are goals that they are certain they can accomplish, with your help of course.
