Arcata Eye/Scene - Week of February 9, 2004
Mike Donohoe, Young Lion's Report: Wouldn't those weigh a guy down?

"Dragged By Horses are heavy-weights..... Heavy, controlled rampage rock, we are lucky to have witnessed this eruption of volcanic proportions. The ash has begun to settle, but Dragged By Horses is still on the lips of those in attendance on Thursday at the Alibi. A three piece of furious drumming, metal-crunching guitar and solid thuds of low end bass, DBH fills a room with more sonic thickness than most four, five or six piece bands of like-minded sound. Like-minded, not comparative, for there is no band like Dragged By Horses."

"When was the last time you got punched in the face and liked it?..........
...Dragged By Horses. The Arcata California three peice plays it loud and sweaty and fast and mean with more roar than a glass packed GTO and more balls than the Nuge.......Dragged by Horses receives two thumbs and a big toe up."
