Downplay is a lyrically driven rock band based out of Athens, OH. Their music ranges from soft to heavy, with an emphasis on melody. Listeners get drawn in by the catchy lyrics, melodies, and heavy heartfelt choruses. In April of 2005, the band went into the studio to record this debut album, Saturday. The band is thoroughly pleased with the results and is excited to record the next album to be finished in April 2006. You can find Downplay rocking out and gaining popularity at shows all over Ohio.
