AGNES GOOCH

Agnes Gooch first attracted the attention of the indie music world in 1997 with the release of their debut album "Blind", garnering critical acclaim. Formed in 1995 when Mat Baker (vocals/guitar) and Nathan Ehrenfeld (guitar/keys) met in a local Los Angeles nightclub, the original lineup was completed with the addition of Johnny Lonely (bass) and Scott Bushkin (drums). Agnes Gooch signed to Giant/Revolution in 1996.

After several successful tours, including Lollapalooza, X Games and opening for a variety of bands from Incubus to No Doubt, Agnes Gooch succumbed to the curse of major label politics, drifted apart & decided to go different musical directions.

Seven years later.... They're back; stronger, wiser and hungry. Returning to the studio, and now whole with the addition of drummer Chris Cano (Orson, Mother tongue), they recorded the raw, beautifully manic 2nd album, "Now I See".

"Now I see" is filled with up and down, noise to pure melody - a sonic spew with lyrics dripped from a freshly cut vein.

"Now I See" is independently released on ATM Records, and distributed by Smash Distribution.
