Welcome to the world of 1984, where Rock & Roll still lives! Many groups are classified into so many different categories that is boggles the mind.

1984 refuses to fall into the cracks of Rock, Pop, Metal, Retro, or whatever the flavor of the month is.

That is why they simply choose to call themselves "America's Last Rock & Roll Band".

In 1999, the band was formed as an 80's cover band, and proceeded on an exuasting summer schedule including clubs, private events, fundraisers, and even opening for 70's and 80's superstar Eddie Money.

Seeing the immense response to thier show, 1984 decided to start writing.

After playing the new songs for a few months in the clubs they soon became the most requested part of the show, prompting the recording of "Casual Hello".

Casual Hello combines a unique blend of rock styles.

It's almost a "smorgasboard" of rock & roll.

Guitar styes ranging from guitar rock & blues, vocal styes of metal, blues, and soul, and intricate double bass beats give "Casual Hello" a unique feel.

Inrospective and meaningfull lyrics give the album a social conscience, and tackle some difficult subjects as well as some fun ones.

All in all, 1984's release "Casual Hello" provides you the listener with music that you can enjoy on many levels, and still have some good old fashioned Rock & Roll fun.
