Teriyaki Asthma I-V CD brings together the first five volumes of the Teriyaki Asthma series of 7" compilations -- each a selection of four unique bands. The Teriyaki Asthma series has a long and dignified history in the Seattle music scene -- volume one of the series, issued in 1989, featured the first ever release of Nirvana: their song "Mexican Seafood," which would later appear on their album Insecticide.
