One of the Spain´s most prolific groups, BLOOMINGTON, were formed in 1994. They have rewritten the rules of indie-rock and redefined the meaning of Spanish underground music.

Singer Jose Tato, bassist Javier Torres and drummer Juan Jesus Tato never looked comfortable in the company of their contemporaries.

Think Teenage Fanclub, think Sunny Day Real Estate, think Fugazi, think Lemonheads, think these kids have turned indie-rock back into a sonic storm.

These three boys from Spain have wooed all and sundry with their debut album THE MAGIC BULLET THEORY (released February - 02) certain to be one of the most compelling indie-rock albums of 2002, but BLOOMINGTON have been providing a corrosive, cacophonous soundtrack to an alternative American Dream for over eight years.

Having spent the last September recording their follow-up to the first album with Xavi Navarro (Aina, Standstill, The Unfinished Simpathy) at the controls, BLOOMINGTON are roaring and ready to get back to basics, back to what they do best: live indie-rock music.

From tender love songs to fierce guitar spasms. Expect much more in the near future.

Rock on, kids!
