the Arc of Process was recorded in the years 2001-2002: the material was recorded either in an apartment bathroom in Altamonte Springs, or in a small bedroom of the house where Garrett Fermoyle lived in Orlando with five of his college friends who had just graduated from Stetson University. The songs were written on an acoustic guitar during the period that saw Garrett's project to build a web company transformed into a project to liberate the world. Rather, it was not the world that he sought to liberate, but his own self, and this process of liberation came to be represented by the name, Adam Archetype: a formula designed to actualize the potential freedom inherent in a single man. Adam Archetype did not actually become conscious to Garrett until after the Arc of Process has been completely recorded. In this sense, the album paints the picture of the process that led to the discovery of Adam Archetype and the lyrics can be understood best in that light.
