32 Leaves, simply put, is not a band identified or interested in the popular trends of the time. The band maintains their integrity with a writing style continuously developing, maturing, and always changing, running parallel to the "Mainstream Music Sound", and even a few steps ahead of it. The bands true identity and true interest are found within the structure and composition of their music, their industry worthy recording efforts, their live show and most importantly, the 32 Leaves fans. The origin of the band is credited to what was only to be a quick stop too check out a friend of a friend's band in need of a singer. Lead singer Greg Norris was amazed by what he heard, and by the second verse of the first song the band was jamming in full force, and 32 Leaves was born! Norris explains that, "It's always been a matter of synergy between the four of us. I feel it's truly a gift to have the connection that the four of us have. Often it's so intense that we don't even need to speak to one another. Our ideas, thought's and concerns work themselves out through us, through our music". That synergy, that connection, is the formula that characterizes 32 Leaves, and is relayed through their songs, on record, and in eye-catching live performances.
