The Slanderin rose from the smoldering L.A. underground in the tradition of the great 80s punk rock scene that influenced them in their upbringings, and fused with, and steeped in the hard core European Psychobilly that they have based their sound on, have created a new monster in Rock-n-Roll!!!

Heavily influenced by legendary acts like The Meteors, Demented Are GO, The Klingons, Bat Mobile, and Mad Sin just to name a few,The Slanderin have managed to carry on with a new wave of Psycho in what has become one of the biggest Psychobilly scenes in the world, The U.S. west coast and south west. Not to mention the waves they've made over seas, in England, Spain, and Germany where Psycho originated and fermented. The Slanderin have won the praise and respect of nearly all their predecessors.

This isn't The Reverend Horton Heat. The Slanderin go up to the Rev and bitch slap him and tell him to go in the kitchen and make them some three cheese hot pockets!!!!!

The Slanderin Begin a 5 week tour with the Meteors in October. The Slanderin just recorded 3 songs for Split 7 Records...2 of them to be featured on a Split 7".
