"The pop hooks of Blondie with the theatrics of early David Bowie"

Japanese Import MIMIROCK has become a New York East Village sensation.Know for her outrageous stage theatrics and driving rock pop songs, Mimi has one foot firmly plante in 1977 and 2002.Her debut CD,Whah! is a must-have item for all those Bowie/Iggy/Blondie fans wondering where allthe good rock and roll has gone. - Womanrock.com

To see a MIMIROCK stage show is intense.she grabs your attention from the begining and doesn't give it back till she's good and done with it. When you do get your senses back, you realize tha you've been rocked. Hard. The sound is without a doubt, huge, "Super Japanese" is an instant metal classic with a Sabbath-like intro. "Take you there" starts to create a mixed East/West Coast punk sound. "New York" Don't Worry" and "Fall into the Sky" all have poppy hooks that will stick with you. "Tell me America"'s got this Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hide arrangement that transforms from Metal to Punk. the traditional closing Number, "Dandelion" sits apart from the rest - calming and cleansing us a little like sobert after a meal.

Mimirock feautures guitarist Jeff Kolber, along with Gift Horse member Arlan Feiles(bass)and Brad Gunyon(drums)
