Plug-In was formed in 1999 by Fanalo (guitar) and Elmobo (bass + sequencing + mixing + mastering + producing). The same year, they self produced their first EP "#0.9", very much influenced by Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. After a long pause in their collaboration, Fanalo and Elmobo joined forces again to open for Bumblefoot (feat. Ron Thal) in March 2001.
