ONE MORE ONCE An electric instrumental fusion of funk, jazz, rock, and pop, ONE MORE ONCE began rehearsing and writing in the summer of1992, and soon began work on their debut cd SIMMER DOWN. The band consisted of studio musicians from the new york area that decided it was time to make music for themselves, with barely a regard for genre or musical consistency from one track to the next. This turned out to be a big success throughout the new york metropolitan area at jazz clubs, rock and blues festivals and theatre concerts (promoted and funded entirely by the band), without a recording contract! After a year or so of performing the eclectic set live, the band decided to record again. The second cd SO CLOSE, SO FAR was recorded and mixed in one week, to capture the sound of the band performing live. This cd features a version of led zeppelins "dazed and confused" a show stopper and frequent request in live concerts. A few years later (and with a few changes in personnel-departures all friendly) the band decided to record again. ALL AN ILLUSION features instrumental arrangement of songs by jimmy hendrix, and yes, as well as a variety of original material. ONE MORE ONCE is currently working on a new cd that will have some big surprises, some special guests and will be available in the summer of 2004. ENJOY!
