The explosive second release from GFM stays true to the band's unique, diverse style and live energy. The music will take you from thundering feedback to smooth grooves and back again, and leave you begging on your knees for more.

******************************

Guerrilla Funk Monster is a four piece original band with an experimental musical style that blends rock, blues, funk, punk, reggae, and world music in such a unique way that it is hard to categorize. They simply cannot be defined by just one genre. Their eclectic mix of songs provides diversity, intensity, and creative musicianship.

Formed in 2001, Guerrilla Funk Monster has played hundreds of shows all over Canada, and has received radio play and press all over canada and in select parts of the Americas, Europe, and Australia.

The band draws from a wide range of influences that include: Jimi Hendrix, The Meters, Funkadelic, James Brown, Tom Waits, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Faith No More, The Minutemen, Manu Chao, Bob Marley, Fishbone, and Fela Kuti.

THE ONE THING THAT REMAINS THE SAME IS THAT THEY KEEP PEOPLE CAPTIVATED ON AND OFF OF THE DANCE FLOOR ALL NIGHT LONG WITH THEIR INTENSE GROOVE-ORIENTED SOUND.
