Much like Batman, Alphatonic lives a rather bizarre dual life. It is simultaneously: The farewell CD from Minneapolis funksters The Heed and The debut of Alphatonic, the new project from the 2 original Heed founders. Alphatonic finds itself decidedly darker and less funky than it's predacessor, PROGNOSIS. More textures and focus on tightly written songs, Alphatonic marks a bit of a departure from the happy-go-lucky bar funk rock The Heed was known for.
