"Now In A Timemachine" is the debut-album of Almost Amused. Founded in september 1998 in Hamburg-Volksdorf (germany), Almost Amused startet like many other young bands as a blues- and rock-coverband. But after a short time the coversongs were replaced by own material what (besides instrumental expands and partial reformings) led to the incredible living and powerful style they have nowadays. Due to performances on big stages, performances at several band-contests and countless gigs in clubs, bars and partys in Hamburg and surroundings, the band has reached a level of tightness and professionalism on stage, that stuns every new audience and old fans as soon as the show begins. This gives the band the freedom to present their repertoire so powerful and wholesome that they win new fans every time they play or are heard. The personal preferences of each member create a creative bandwidth in the songs that is rarely heard todays. Well-grounded somewhere between the "real" bluesrockers of the 70ties, they always surprise their listeners with modern funk- and blues-elements and make it impossible not "to groove with and move to the music". To describe the bands style the genre "Tightrock" was given birth to. Rockmusic as sexy as an pair of tight jeans around a sexy arse ...
