In early 1998, a conversation between two co-workers began about the "good old days" when bands were bands. They talked about the mid-seventies/early eighties era when bands such as The Police, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kool and the Gang and Queen provided such a wide musical genre that regardless of what your musical preferences you could not help to get captured by this mixture of musical contributions. Using these influences they decided to create their own sounds by bringing together old acquaintances that still had the same compassion and drive. Hence, 8 to 12 was born. Since that time this band has used these and other musical influences to propel their sound to the masses. This sextet not only works hard in the studio but also goes all out to entertain their spellbound audience with smooth choreography and surprises. They are a band with old school musical grooves with new spiritual vibes. So enjoy and look for them or, even better, ask for them to come to your town soon.
Currently, they are out providing their charismatic sounds to NYC clubs such as Kenny's Castaways, Parkside Lounge and Le Bar Bat all which have asked for return engagements.
