The history of 3 Noodle Stew is as widely-varied and anecdote rich as the history of any other band that has spent most if it's life in a freezing garage with no money. Having said that, I must point out that we can now afford heat on most every occasion! From an idea borne in the cold, late fall days of 1997 in Riverside, NJ, 3 Noodle Stew emerged as the collective talent of Fred Pasqua (Bass/Vocals,) Jeff Stoltz (Keyboard/Vocals,) Dan Jacoby (Guitar,) and drummer Fatt. These "Noodles" put their heads together to come up with extended improvised jams (along the lines of Phish or the Grateful Dead) and songs that capture the spirit of Steely Dan-meets-Sinatra-meets-Hendrix. First there were the gigs. Sweaty shows with the poor lighting and inadequate bathrooms, yet still inspired the fans to dance with wild abandon. Then there were the various pieces of questionable gear; there may still be some investigation pending, therefore I am not at liberty to further discuss any of that. Then came the new drummer. With Fatt leaving the band to pursue other interests (some of which may involve small animals or an unconventional use for a popular cola,) Young David Zearfaus entered the fold to complete the 3NS lineup as it is today. Finally came the recording, the "Robusto!" EP that came out in 2001 and is available on this website. Check out the artist's website: http://www.3noodlestew.com Track List: 1. Gemini 2. Numbers 3.
