Sharon began her career as a Celtic folk singer, traveling around to pubs and coffeehouses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Her voice is perfectly suited to Irish balladry, and she quickly won a loyal following. In 1996, she released her first album, the Celtic rocking "Incantation" which has received national acclaim. Sharon has performed at numerous fairs and festivals, including the Oregon Country Fair, the Sebastopol Celtic Festival, the Ancient Ways festival, and a wide variety of harvest fairs.

Sharon has long been inspired by the mythic archetypes of her Irish ancestry, and has woven this into her original music. She has also avidly studied Middle-Eastern dance, spending many years as a student of Suhaila Salimpour and bringing this to her current performances as well. As the driving force behind Pandemonaeon, she has been featured at Slim's, the Great American Music Hall, and the Mystic Theater, sharing her witchy vocals and myth-inspired lyrics with audiences young and old.
